The Ministry of Construction has counted the debts of Russians for housing and communal services

The total amount of overdue debt for water supply, sanitation and heat supply is 415 billion rubles. It is important to return these funds to the economy of housing and communal services, management companies and resource supply organizations, as they are necessary for the modernization of municipal infrastructure, the head of the Ministry of Construction emphasized.

The introduction of electronic payment will help systematize the work to reduce the amount of debt for housing and communal services, Faizullin believes. Such a bill was developed by the Ministry of Construction, the document has already been agreed upon with the federal executive authorities. The electronic payment document will receive legal status. The Ministry of Construction previously launched an experiment on debt collection through the interaction of GIS Housing and Communal Services, Rosreestr, Social Fund and State Automated System “Justice”. 20 Russian regions take part in it.
