The Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea summed up the results of work for 2025

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea summed up the results of work for 2025 in the format of a press conference for representatives of the republican and federal media. First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea Roman Khitushchenko and General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Crimea Irina Boyko answered questions from media workers.

According to Roman Khitushchenko, the results of the region’s development in 2025 indicate that, despite the sanctions, Crimea is developing confidently.

In 2021, we had an order from the President, according to which it was necessary to attract 1 trillion rubles of investment into the economy of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. At the federal level, it was decided that part of Sevastopol is 200 billion rubles, and part of the Republic of Crimea is 800 billion. And based on the results of four years of work by the well-coordinated team of the government of the Republic of Crimea, we managed to reach the figure of 870 billion rubles and thus fulfill the instructions of the President. At the same time, by 2030, according to new national goals, the indicator is set at 60% of the achieved indicator,” said Roman Khitushchenko.

At the end of last year, the influx of private investment increased by 14.5% and amounted to 270.5 billion rubles. A total of 368.9 billion rubles were invested in the republic’s economy over the past year, which is 6.8% higher than the reporting period.

Positive trends are noted in the sanatorium and resort industry of the region, which is currently included in the “Golden Five” of the National Tourism Rating.

Among the planned activities for the current year, Roman Khitushchenko highlighted activities related to the implementation of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy” in the Republic of Crimea with total funding of 500.55 billion rubles, organizing work to identify innovative projects, filling the register of creative industries, social entrepreneurs, family businesses and masters of folk art crafts, as well as the implementation of events for SMEs within the framework of the work of the “My Business” Center of the Republic of Crimea.

In turn, the General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Crimea, Irina Boyko, recalled that today Crimea ranks 7th in the ranking of investment attractiveness of regions of the Russian Federation, continuing to demonstrate strong growth in this direction.

As Boyko clarified, today the Corporation is supporting 304 projects worth 776.9 billion rubles. Moreover, in 2025, out of 77 new projects, 40 were approved at meetings of the Council for Improving the Investment Climate.

An important indicator of the organization’s work in supporting investment projects remains the volume of social obligations fulfilled by investors, which as of the end of 2025 amounted to over 4.5 billion rubles. As part of social obligations, 405 apartments were transferred to the ownership of the republic, some of which were transferred to municipalities to eliminate queues of needy citizens, including orphans.
