The creation of a separate public register of persons obliged to pay alimony will increase the efficiency and quality of the enforcement of judicial acts, believes Evgeny Zabarchuk, First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.
An additional lever of influence on unscrupulous alimony payers will be the creation of a separate public register of persons obliged to pay alimony. This will help improve the efficiency and quality of the enforcement of judicial acts, as well as motivate debtors who evade paying alimony to fulfill their obligations. Work on the relevant bill is at the final stage.— quotes the minister RAPSI.
In his speech, he also noted that last year the legal framework for the functioning of the compulsory enforcement system in the territories of the new subjects of the Russian Federation was prepared.
At the same time, Zabarchuk drew attention to the need to take additional measures in 2023 to ensure the protection of the rights of citizens and organizations, including on issues of disproportion between the value of the seized property and the amount of debt and double debt cancellation, as well as further increasing the pace and quality of execution when collecting alimony for minors children and disabled parents.
