The most in-demand professions in Crimea are doctor and teacher
If we talk about the labor market in Crimea, now the candidate rules here. If 5-7 years ago an employer took a long time to select personnel from a certain number of candidates, because there was a wide choice, then today there are several vacancies per candidate— said the expert.
Analyzing the wage market from 2020 to 2025, the specialist notes a noticeable increase – almost doubling.
Despite these trends, there is an acute shortage of specialists in several areas in Crimea.
We now have an acute shortage in the healthcare sector — all doctors of narrow specialties. Oncologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, neurologists, anesthesiologists are now worth their weight in gold. There is also an acute shortage of paramedical personnel — nurses, paramedics, etc. There is a shortage of employees in the fields of tourism, construction, and the IT industry,” the interlocutor listed.
There are generally not enough teachers and university professors… It is difficult to attract young personnel graduating from university into this field, so support programs from the state are needed here. There are very few specialists here— the guest of the broadcast draws attention.
The expert also notes the lack of personnel in industry and agriculture.
Agriculture in Crimea is now actively developing. And in this regard, there are not always enough qualified specialists. Now there is a modernization of production, where certain competencies are required“, the interlocutor added.
The demand for all of the above professions in Crimea will continue in the next 5-7 years.
It is important to be a qualified specialist in your niche, it is important to find a job, no matter how trivial it may sound, that you like, and do it, improve, learn, grow and move up the career ladder… I sincerely believe that any specialty provides an opportunity to develop financially, – the expert believes.
Overall, according to the recruiter, the job market is now in a “perfect storm” where several factors have come together.
Due to the consequences of the pandemic, most specialists have switched to remote work. And in general, the ratio of the working-age population is decreasing. That is, now the volume of people that production and other areas need does not correspond to the needs (of the market — ed.). There are significantly fewer people. And this trend will definitely continue for the coming decades.— summed up the guest of the broadcast.
