The municipal stage of the All-Russian military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa 2.0” took place in the Balaklava region

Over the course of three days, at school No. 25, 14 teams from seven educational organizations in the city demonstrated their skills in team and individual competitions. This year the project is being implemented jointly with the Association of Veterans of the Northern Military District, the First Movement, Yunarmia, the Youth Affairs Administration and the Department of Education and Science. The children’s competitions are also judged by participants in the “Sevastopol – City of Heroes” program.

Each team is already a winner, because it was able to unite, show endurance and apply knowledge in practice. Zarnitsa 2.0 gives children much more than just competition: it teaches them to make decisions, be responsible for their comrades and believe in themselves and the team. It’s nice to see how the kids’ eyes light up — it’s from such sincere, brave and friendly teams that the true support of our city grows,” noted the Chairman of the Council of the regional branch of the Movement of the First, Marina Tsvetinskaya.

In the younger age category, the children competed in drill training, the sports game “Sniper,” the “History of the Fatherland” quiz, first aid, and strength endurance exercises. Team coherence, speed of reaction and will to win were assessed.

Teams of the middle age category passed a number of team tests, including drill and fire training, survival in extreme conditions and strength endurance exercises. The participants also demonstrated their skills in the individual competition and the tactical game of laser tag, showing the level of personal training and strategic thinking.

The guys in the older age category showed themselves in both individual and team tests. They took part in a tactical game of laser tag, completed a set of team competitions, demonstrating a high level of preparation, coordination and ability to work in a team.

The next stages of Zarnitsa 2.0 will take place in the Leninsky and Nakhimovsky districts.
