The national team of Crimea took the «bronze» of the football tournament of veteran teams in Moscow

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Crimean team became the bronze medalist of the charity football tournament among veteran teams for the prizes of the Union of Football Veterans of Russia. Competitions were held June in Moscow as part of the celebration of the Day of Russia.

Six teams took part in the tournament: teams of the Union of Football Veterans of Russia, Crimea, DPR, LPR, doctors of Russia and friends of the Union of Football Veterans of Russia. The teams played each other in one round (each with each) in the 9 by 9 format. The games took place on a third of the football field, the duration of the half was seven minutes. The victory in the tournament was won by the team of the Union of Football Veterans of Russia, which scored 12 points. It included such stars of Soviet and Russian football as Rinat Dasaev, Sergei Shavlo, Sergei Kiryakov, Dmitry Kuznetsov, Dmitry Ananko and a number of others. It is curious that our countrymen were the only ones who managed to defeat this stellar team (2: 1) , reports «Crimean Sport» .

The Crimean national team scored 8 points, and only by additional indicators lost the “silver” to the LPR team (it also has 8 credit points).

The Crimean team was represented by Petr Tikhonovich, Yuri Vetokha, Vladimir Marushchak, Mikhail Mikishenko, Sergey Gapon, Anatoly Brovko, Andrey Dobryansky, Petr Manannikov, Viktor Bulakh, Sergey Kulik, Alexander Yatsun, Alexander Gudim and Vladimir Ilyasov.

The football festival was a success, — said the President of the Union of Football Veterans of Russia Alexander Mirzoyan. – Amazing matches have passed, everyone played with enthusiasm. And the most important thing is that we brought happiness to Donetsk and Lugansk residents.
