The police of Simferopol awarded a local resident who detained the attacker

In the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol, an award ceremony was held for a local resident who, having shown an active civic position, detained the robber.
The incident took place in February of this year in Simferopol. In the daytime, a 47-year-old local resident in one of the parks of the city attacked a woman, snatched her wallet, which contained cash in the amount of 20 thousand rubles, and ran away. A man walking a dog nearby saw everything that was happening and rushed after the fleeing man. Caught up with the attacker, grabbed and held him until the police arrived— told the details in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol, police colonel Sergei Nikolaev expressed gratitude to the vigilant citizen for his active participation in ensuring public order and security for the residents of the Crimean capital.
