From March 3 to March 5, a meeting of the regional team of the art cluster «Tavrida» was held in the Crimea at the site of the Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom». In total, 143 people joined the team of ambassadors and media ambassadors this year — young people who popularize opportunities for professional and creative development among the youth of their region. In addition to them, regional committees for youth affairs continue productive cooperation with Tavrida.
The team is the foundation of our project, so I consider investing in the development of people the best investment, and with the evolution of the project it also becomes a necessity. You are part of this evolution, and how we will develop further depends largely on you, so I hope that the updated format of your participation in projects «Tavrida.ART» will become in some way an incentive for personal and professional growth. After that, the ambassadors, media ambassadors, representatives of the youth affairs committees plunged into collective work for three days. In the format of lectures, master classes, trainings, practices and free communication, they got acquainted with the projects and opportunities of the Tavrida art cluster, received instructions and mastered skills that will allow them to further involve a wide audience of their regions in the activities of Tavrida.
The heads of various areas of the art cluster spoke in detail about the key areas of work this year. Thus, the deputy head of Tavrida for educational technologies and content, Ksenia Artemyeva, announced the work plan of the art cluster for the coming year, the head of the department of cultural and educational projects, Victoria Chaplinsky, revealed what the main festival of the country, Tavrida.ART, will be like in 2023, and Daria Kudrya, head of the digital service, shared the results of last year’s information campaigns and set the bar for the upcoming season. Also, the participants of the meeting received information about the grant competition, the development of regional art residences, support for young artists and opportunities for career and professional growth.
As part of practical classes, ambassadors and media ambassadors learned how to create high-quality content for social networks and the media, developed current events for the youth of their region, and looked for ways to build effective communication with audiences, taking into account their values.
Ambassadors and media ambassadors of the Tavrida art cluster are young, energetic people who participate in the information promotion of Tavrida projects and popularize opportunities for professional and creative development among the youth of their region. In fact, they become co-organizers of Tavrida projects, gaining experience in implementing large-scale events, improving their public speaking skills and conducting an information campaign. Angela Gavrilenko, an ambassador from Stavropol, speaks about her motivation:
Becoming a part of the Tavrida team is not only experience, teamwork, support, but also a huge responsibility. This is a project where there is every opportunity to implement bold ideas here and now, and I feel that I should use it myself and be able to tell others about these resources.
In 2023, according to the results of the competitive selection, the team of ambassadors included 96 people, media ambassadors — 45. All of them are representatives of 86 regions of Russia. Among them are young figures of culture and arts, professionals in the field of public relations and journalism, activists of public and student associations. Most of them were able to come to the meeting in Crimea.
