The court found that in August 2019, a contract was concluded between the organization in which the accused worked and the contractor to carry out repair and restoration work to preserve the cultural heritage site “Big and Small Stairs” in Kerch as part of the implementation of the Federal Target Program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol until 2022.”
During the work, the contractor used stone products (steps and paving slabs), which in terms of their performance did not meet the requirements of the design documentation, including the requirements of GOST 9479-2011, the FSB noted.
Knowing this, the employee illegally confirmed the quality and volume of work performed, personally signed the corresponding acts of acceptance of the work performed, according to which funds were later transferred to the contractor company in the total amount of 211 million rubles. A criminal case was initiated and investigated against the official under paragraph “c” of Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The Kerch City Court found the defendant guilty and sentenced her to six years in prison to be served in a general regime colony, the Crimean prosecutor’s office added.
In addition, the accused is deprived of the right to engage in activities related to control and supervision of construction, technical, repair, restoration, and emergency work for a period of 3 years. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
