The results of the regional stage of the high technology championship were announced in Sevastopol

A high technology championship is being held in Russian regions. This is part of the All-Russian championship movement “Professionals”. Competitions are held on innovative competencies that are in demand in high-tech production and the digital economy to ensure the achievement of technological sovereignty.

From April 6 to April 10, the regional stage of the championship was held at the Sevastopol College of Architecture and Civil Engineering. 2nd and 3rd year students of the “Architecture” and “Construction and Operation of Buildings and Structures” training areas competed in the “Operator of Additive Construction Complexes for Transport Infrastructure” competency.

This competitive area is related to the modeling, management and control of 3D construction processes for the creation and repair of transport infrastructure facilities: roads, bridges and other elements of the transport system.

The “Operator of Additive Construction Complexes for Transport Infrastructure” competency is a direction of the future, where new generation objects are created at the intersection of engineering and digital design. This direction addresses the main needs of the road construction industry: a shortage of personnel — specialists with modern skills are expected at enterprises, as well as a request for innovation and acceleration of processes — 3D printing technologies save time and resourcessaid teacher of the Sevastopol College of Architecture and Construction, chief expert of the regional stage of the championship Andrey Pugovkin.

According to the results of the competition days, first place was won by 3rd year student of the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering Ivan Petrik, second place by Vladimir Podoplelov, third place by Maria Lozar.

Now the winner will have to prove his skills in the interregional stage of the high-tech championship, based on the results of which the right to participate in the championship finals is determined.

In addition, as part of the regional stage of the high-tech championship, a series of career guidance events for schoolchildren was held. They learned about the professions of the future in the construction industry.

Let us remind you that the All-Russian championship movement in professional skills “Professionals” is aimed at supporting talented youth, strengthening human resources and ensuring the technological sovereignty of Russia and includes the “Professionals” championship and the high-tech championship. Both championships are held within the framework of the federal project “Professionalism” of the national project “Youth and Children”.
