In Simferopol, work continues to equip the Simferopol Children’s Art School with modern equipment after the completion of a major renovation of the building.
The major renovation of the school building was carried out within the framework of the regional project “Family Values and Cultural Infrastructure” of the national project “Family”. Simferopol Children’s Art School is the largest multidisciplinary art school in the Republic of Crimea. Pre-professional educational programs in the field of musical, choreographic, theatrical, vocal-choral and visual arts are implemented here.
During the overhaul, a complex of large-scale works was carried out in the building: the interior decoration of the premises was completed, utility networks, sewerage, water supply and heating systems were replaced, and the façade of the building was updated. A modern glass staircase was also installed, plastering and painting work was carried out, new floor tiles were laid, and educational and administrative premises were completely renovated, — reported the press service of the Simferopol administration.
Currently, the main stage is related to equipping the school. Furniture, equipment, teaching materials and musical instruments are supplied to classrooms. The purchase of instruments continues, a significant part of them has already been delivered and is being prepared for use in the educational process.
The updated material and technical base will create modern and comfortable conditions for the creative development of children, improve the quality of additional education and expand opportunities for the implementation of creative initiatives of students.
After all work is completed, the art school will be able to accommodate about 500 students. The educational process will be provided by 42 teachers.
The renovation of the institution is aimed at developing the system of additional education, supporting the creative potential of children and creating a modern cultural and educational environment in Simferopol.
