The Sevastopol resident didn’t work anywhere, but he needed money… He decided to become a “serial” thief
As the police established, the 28-year-old Sevastopol resident did not work anywhere, but still needed money to live. Then he decided that the easiest way to get them was to take someone else’s.
Passing by one of the unfinished private houses in the Nakhimovsky district, he climbed over the fence, tore off the padlock from the outbuilding and took a screwdriver from there, which he then sold to a consignment store for 5.5 thousand rubles. Naturally, he spent the money on personal needs. He did the same with an electric scooter worth 5 thousand rubles, stolen from a hostel in the Gagarinsky district.
The next time the man decided to profit from something “more interesting.” Just for this occasion, he came across a motorcycle worth 200 thousand rubles in the courtyard of one of the houses in the Gagarinsky district. Encouraged by the find, the suspect tried to start it, but in vain. The only thing left was to simply roll the vehicle away. That’s exactly what he did. Since it was not possible to revive the “iron horse”, the man abandoned it in a neighboring yard, where the police later found it missing— reported the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
The same fate awaited a bicycle stolen by an intruder from the entrance of an apartment building. After driving, he abandoned it on the road and left in an unknown direction. The children’s park guards found the property and contacted the police.
Criminal investigation operatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district identified the serial killer and detained him. The Investigation Department has initiated criminal cases under paragraphs. “b” and “c” part 2 art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The defendant faces up to five years in prison.
