The space at the Sevastopol Youth Theater was updated thanks to the FKGS program

The landscaped park near the theater for young spectators on Pravdy Street is a renewed place for local residents to relax and an area for waiting for performances on fine days. Residents voted for the renovation of this space as part of the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” program.

Putting this park in order was a logical continuation of the improvement of the territory. Earlier, in 2024, the building of the Youth Theater was renovated, last year we already landscaped this square behind the theater — said Deputy Director of Parks and Squares Yegor Suslin.

The park renovation project was coordinated with both residents and the architectural and artistic council in order to maintain a balance between the wishes of the people and the appearance of the theater building.

Before the improvement, there was a transit area in unsatisfactory condition. Today, about 700 square meters of renovated public space is a place where residents can relax on comfortable benches while waiting for a performance in the theater.

In addition to arranging the surface and creating places for recreation, they installed outdoor lighting, a video surveillance system, and also additionally landscaped the area with thuja, cherry laurel, roses and woolly stachys bushes.
