The State Archives of Crimea summed up the results of the IV Republican competition “Best Archivist of the Republic of Crimea”

The competition is held in order to encourage archivists who have made a significant contribution to the development of archival affairs, who have achieved high practical results in their work, who support young professionals in the field of archival affairs, and who also popularize the profession of archivist and the importance of archival affairs.

According to the Regulations on the republican competition of professional skills “The Best Archivist of the Republic of Crimea”, competition participants present a video demonstrating the participant’s professional activities and workplace.

Opening the event, the head of the State Archives, Oleg Lobov, noted that in the context of rapid changes in society and the state, the role of archives is becoming increasingly important. Archives continue to be in demand by both the state and society, performing the key function of preserving historical memory and providing access to information. Since 2016, the Federal Archival Agency of Russia has been directly subordinate to the President of the Russian Federation, which indicates the high requirements and expectations for archival activities. This highlights the importance of archives in promoting transparency, accountability and the preservation of historical truth.

The competition participants were also greeted by: Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Mikhail Nazarov, Chairman of the Interregional Crimean Republican and Sevastopol territorial organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Workers of State Institutions and Public Services of the Russian Federation Viktor Sazonov.

Based on the results of the jury’s consideration of the submitted materials, the winners of the competition were determined.

In the nomination “Best archivist of the state archives of the Republic of Crimea”:

1st place took Oksana Olenskaya, chief archaeographer of the special collections department of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “State Archives of the Republic of Crimea”;

2nd place occupied by Kristina Chernyavskaya, chief archivist of the department for the use of information of documents of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “State Archives of the Republic of Crimea of ​​Contemporary History and Personnel”;

3rd place occupied by Rafael Bogdanov, head of the department of research and methodological work “Center for the Study of Contemporary History of Crimea” of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “State Archive of the Republic of Crimea of ​​Contemporary History and Personnel”

In the nomination “Best archivist of municipal archives in the Republic of Crimea”:

1st place – Asie Seytumerova, head of the archival department (municipal archive) Administration of the Nizhnegorsky district;

2nd place – Natalya Alexandrova, head of the sector for working with normative and methodological documents of the department for the formation of the archival fund of the management of archival affairs of the Yalta City Administration;

3rd place – Yulia Bryukhanova, chief specialist of the archival sector (municipal archive) Administration of the city of Armyansk.

In the category “Best archivist of organizations in the Republic of Crimea”:

1st place – Olga Rebrova, leading HR specialist, clerk of the MKU “Municipal Archives of the City of Kerch”;

2nd place – Svetlana Melnichuk, head of the archive of the administrative department of the FSUE “Crimean Railway”;

3rd place – Marina Ageeva, chief consultant of the department for work with local acts and organizational work of the office management department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea.

Participants of the competition who did not take prizes were awarded diplomas of the IV Republican Competition of Professional Excellence “Best Archivist of the Republic of Crimea”.
