On the basis of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov, the Regional Patriotic Forum “CrimeaPatriotForum” was held, organized by the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea. Representatives of Russian student teams received awards.
The forum brought together representatives of active youth of the Republic of Crimea, organizers of patriotic education of youth at the regional and municipal levels, patriotic, public, volunteer and voluntary organizations.
Today, active and patriotic youth have gathered in this hall, who are adherents of the spiritual and moral values of all of Russia. It is symbolic that the forum is being held within the walls of our university on a memorable day, the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland. Our country has always been the target of attacks by our enemies, and there have always been, are and will be people in our country, real heroes who, at the cost of their lives, saved the lives of thousands of people. And today, as then, our heroes protect us, and thanks to them we can gather here in this hall. I’m proud of our heroes. Be brave and love your homeland— emphasized Chingiz Yakubov, Rector of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov, deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.
As part of the event, awards were given to members of youth associations and winners of the Regional Project “Memory Watch – Post No. 1”.
For our country, Defender of the Fatherland Day is a special holiday, because each of us has our own heroes. For me, this holiday carries certain meanings: my great-grandfathers were participants in the Great Patriotic War. And today our guys, our friends are also defending our Motherland. Protecting what? Our culture, our values and our language. In this regard, I would like to say words of gratitude to each of you for your work, for your projects, which every day, not in word, but in deed, show that you are true patriots of our republic and our country. Our loyalty to our homeland gives us strength. Happy holiday!, – noted Arina Morenets, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Committee on Patriotic Education and Youth Policy, head of the Crimean regional branch of the All-Russian public organization “Young Guard of United Russia”.
Representatives of student teams of the Republic of Crimea were also awarded. Vladislav Ezin, a member of the board of the Crimean regional branch of the Russian student brigades, was awarded a certificate for his contribution to the development of patriotic education of the youth of the republic; gratitude from Sergei Aksenov was presented to Maria Nekrasova, the deputy head of the student brigades of Crimea.
Student teams of the Republic of Crimea also contribute to the development of patriotic education of youth. Thus, every year we hold the “Crimean Student Landing of the Russian Socialist Republic” and “Victory Landing” campaigns, within the framework of which participants carry out a set of activities: career guidance work with schoolchildren, patronage assistance, improvement of monuments and memorials. The “Victory Landing” campaign is primarily aimed at carrying out volunteer activities to improve the monuments of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. providing assistance to elderly people, children and veterans of the Great Patriotic War, conducting open lessons on courage in schools, popularizing volunteerism. In 2025, a total of 3,500 people took part in these events, – noted Ekaterina Denesyuk, head of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups.
