The Yalta resident invited an unfamiliar young lady to visit. She stole gold rings and a mobile phone

During operational search activities, it was established that one day the victim invited an unfamiliar woman to their shared apartment. The attacker, taking advantage of the fact that the owner was distracted, stole property.

Criminal investigation officers of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Yalta quickly identified and detained the suspect. She turned out to be a 28-year-old resident of the Krasnodar Territory, previously convicted of a similar crime, temporarily living in a resort town.

The suspect admitted her guilt and explained her actions by financial difficulties. She planned to sell the stolen items and use the proceeds for her own needs.— the details of the incident were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

At the place of temporary residence of the detainee, police discovered and seized all the stolen property. The valuables were returned to their rightful owners. The damage has been fully compensated.

The Investigative Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Yalta opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The attacker faces up to five years in prison. She was given a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions.
