There are now friendship trees in Feodosia

Between the administration of the city of Feodosia and the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education “Voronezh State Forestry University named after. G.F. Morozov» a cooperation agreement was signed. The purpose of this agreement is to organize comprehensive and effective interaction to implement joint tasks to address issues of development of education and science.

This important step opens up new horizons for the development of educational and scientific spheres in Feodosia. The agreement provides for the exchange of experience between experts, joint research and the development of innovative projects aimed at solving pressing problems of the city. Particular attention will be paid to environmental education programs for youth and the development of educational initiatives related to forestry and environmental protection.

As a first step, symbolizing the beginning of a fruitful partnership, on the alley on the street. Gorky, near the bust of Ivan Poddubny, five catalpa seedlings were planted. The choice of this tree is due to its symbolic meaning: the catalpa represents beauty, health and longevity, which echoes the city’s desire for sustainable development and prosperity.
