Deputies approved the dismissal of Olga Shevtsova from the post of Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea — Chief State Inspector of the Republic. The appointment of Olga Shevtsova to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea was agreed uponthe message says.
Previously, the position of deputy chairman was held by Svetlana Maslova. Members of parliament supported the project of the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov to relieve her of her duties.
In addition, a resolution of the State Council of Crimea “On draft federal laws” was adopted.
Olga Shevtsova was born on April 29, 1984 in Evpatoria. She graduated with honors from the Taurida Humanitarian-Ecological Institute with a degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection. In 2014, she received a second higher education with a degree in Public Administration. From 2008 to 2012, Shevtsova worked as a chief specialist — state inspector in various departments related to ecology and environmental protection. Afterwards she became the head of the operational environmental control department. In 2021, Shevtsova was appointed Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Crimea.
