There is a program to support young student families in Crimea
In the Republic of Crimea, a program to support young student families continues to operate. A regional measure of social support in the form of student (family) capital is provided in the amount of 1 million rubles for each child and can be used to purchase housing in Crimea, pay a down payment and repay the principal debt, pay interest on loans or borrowings for the purchase of residential premises, including mortgage loans.
The support measure is provided in the event that a mother gives birth to a child before she reaches the age of 25, whose birth is registered in the republic. A prerequisite is also full-time study at a Crimean university or college.
You can apply for a certificate to the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea within 12 months from the date of birth of the child. The certificate must be sold within a year after receiving it.
More than 100 student families study in educational institutions of higher and secondary vocational education in the Republic of Crimea.
In 2025, 10 young student families who had a child received such a certificate. In December of this year, one family has already purchased housing using funds received from the republic.
More details on the conditions for obtaining student (family) capital can be found at website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Additionally, young families can take advantage of maternal capital, family mortgage or purchase housing being built on the territory of the Republic of Crimea in order to provide residential premises for certain categories of citizens, including young families according to «Standard Housing» program.
