Three new regional projects are going to be launched in Sevastopol

At a staff meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, led by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the launch of new regional projects was discussed: “Development of public transport”, “Improvement of emergency medical care”, “Five seas and Lake Baikal”.

In total, 38 regional projects will be implemented, which are included in 10 national projects. The volume of financing exceeds 5 billion rubles, all contracts must be concluded before April 1.

At the expense of the federal and regional budgets the following will be accomplished:

• road repairs and purchase of public transport;
• improvement of public areas;
• renovation of kindergartens and schools, construction of a kindergarten for 280 children on the 7th kilometer of the Balaklava highway;
• renovation of recreation centers in Fruktovoye and Ternovka; — construction of a new admission department of city hospital No. 1 on Admiral Oktyabrsky and a modular medical and obstetric station on Yablochkova.

Last year, thanks to national projects:

• built a clinic on Taras Shevchenko. Today, at a staff meeting, Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed the Department of Health to open a diabetes school here. We also purchased equipment for city hospitals, provided almost 6 thousand heart patients with free medicines, and 214 pregnant women and 190 children with continuous glucose monitoring systems
• provided families with children with the required payments (regional maternity capital, monthly benefits for children, payments to pay off mortgages, etc. On behalf of the governor, the Department of Labor and Social Protection will review the criteria of need and abolish them where possible). We opened a rental point for essential items for newborns and launched a “Social Nanny”, organized free preparation for IVF, and concluded 536 social contracts
• improved public spaces and pedestrian areas, repaired 99 roads and a bridge, continued relocating people from emergency housing, repaired the library on the Korabelnaya side, and equipped two libraries according to the model standard.

The tasks set for the national projects in 2025 were completed, implementation was 99.7%.
