On the roads of Crimea in the first week of spring, three people were killed in traffic accidents, another 22 were injured, including four minors. This was reported in the republican department of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the period from March 2 to March 8, 2026, 19 road accidents were registered in the Republic of Crimeathe message said.
Law enforcement officers clarified that three people died in road accidents over the past week, and 22 were injured of varying degrees of severity, including four minors.
In addition, five accidents occurred with the participation of pedestrians, in which two were killed and three were injured, including one child, – added to the State Traffic Inspectorate.
187 cases of driving vehicles with signs of intoxication were suppressed, including 22 drivers who were re-indicted, for which criminal liability is provided, law enforcement officers informed.
A week earlier it was reported that in seven days in Crimea happened 11 road accidents in which one person died and 20 people were injured.
