Today, additional checkpoints will be opened on auto-approaches to the Crimean bridge
CrimeaPRESS reports:
So far — from the Krasnodar Territory.
Before the beginning of the May holidays, the construction of additional inspection posts was completed at the inspection points located on the automobile approaches to the Crimean bridge.
The launch of new inspection sites and an increase in the number of employees conducting inspections will increase the throughput of the complexes in preparation for the new holiday season— reported in the UPRDOR «Taman».
In the course of the reconstruction of the existing stationary inspection and screening complexes, modular buildings were installed, equipped with all the necessary technical means of inspection. In order to increase the number of cars checked at the same time, new sites with additional inspection complexes have been equipped.
In the transport security zones on both sides of the Crimean bridge, additional security posts will begin to operate, and in order to reduce the time for passing through the inspection, the number of employees carrying out inspection activities will be increased.
First of all, the new infrastructure of inspection complexes was launched from the side of the Krasnodar Territory— noted in the UPRDOR «Taman». — At inspection complexes from the side of the Republic of Crimea, where a sharp increase in the number of drivers traveling to the mainland is not expected, the modernization of inspection processes will be carried out in two stages. At the first stage, the number of employees conducting inspection activities will be increased. In May, an additional site with modular structures and additional lanes will be equipped at the Kerch stationary inspection complex.
The prepared infrastructure and an increase in the staff will allow, by the peak of the holiday season, to increase the throughput of inspection complexes to 15,000 cars per day for each direction.
Currently, in order to increase the speed of passing the check in front of the inspection complexes, employees of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «UVO of the Ministry of Transport of Russia» work at the auto-approaches, who direct vehicles to different traffic flows, depending on the amount of luggage. Passenger buses are passed on a priority basis. Then the cars are sent either to the inspection and screening complex, or to the manual inspection procedure. Drivers, passengers and their luggage undergo a screening procedure similar to that carried out at airports.
For drivers, there is a “hot line” of the Operational Situation Center for ensuring sustainable passenger and cargo logistics +7 (499) 495-00-11.
