Two high-rise buildings will be built for rehabilitated citizens in Crimea
In Crimea, in 2026, it is planned to build two residential buildings with 120 apartments for citizens from among the rehabilitated peoples, as well as two large engineering infrastructure facilities in places where repatriates live compactly. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Committee for Interethnic Relations of the Republic, Ruslan Yakubov, at a press conference dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
As the head of the department clarified, according to the state program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol until 2030,” this year it is planned to build a residential building with 48 apartments in the city of Stary Krym, Kirovsky district, and a 72-apartment building in the village of Maly Mayak in Alushta.
In addition, it is planned to lay water supply networks in the village of Aykavan, Simferopol region, and sewer networks in the village of Izobilnoye (Alushta).
According to Yakubov, last year a 168-apartment residential building in Bakhchisarai and a 72-apartment building in Sudak were commissioned. In addition, seven apartments worth 24.5 million rubles were purchased for repatriates in 2025 in different localities of the republic.
In 2024, we managed to provide living quarters to about 230 deported families. Last year, about 270 families improved their living conditions— noted the chairman of the State National Committee of the Republic of Crimea.
In general, within the framework of the state program, it is planned to complete the construction of six apartment buildings for rehabilitated citizens, including in Yalta, the village of Lenino and Kerch, as well as a school in Bakhchisaray and a multi-ethnic center in Simferopol.
