In Crimea, in Saki and Belogorsk districts, two waste processing plants will be built. This is stated in the orders of the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, which are published on the portal of the Republican Council of Ministers.
The first eco-technopark will be built in the Belogorsky district. The complex for 4.2 billion rubles will be able to process up to 500 thousand tons of municipal solid waste per year.
The second plant will be built in the Saki region. Its capacity is 200 thousand tons of garbage per year. The project will cost 1.7 billion rubles.
The construction of the facilities must be completed by 31 December 2024 year. The Russian Environmental Operator will act as a single contractor for the two plants.
