Vladimir Konstantinov: the events of the Crimean spring became a political miracle, a phenomenon

In honor of the ninth anniversary of the Crimean Spring — the All-Crimean referendum and the return to Russia — festive, solemn events are held on the peninsula. Including — laying flowers at the monuments «People’s militia of all times» and «Polite people», as well as a meeting in the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.

The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, recalled the significance of the events of 9 years ago, which united all the inhabitants of the peninsula. He called it a political miracle.

Then the entire people of Crimea became one, we united for the sake of achieving our common goal, the realization of the dream of generations of Crimeans — the return of Russia. We lived through that period in one breath. And today, nine years later, we are absolutely sure that we made the right choice.— Vladimir Konstantinov emphasized.

According to him, nine years later, the history of Russian Crimea is entering a new phase. Crimea is a fully integrated, developing region of Russia.

Today, during the period of the Special Operation, the events of the Crimean Spring have acquired a special meaning. In 2014, the Crimeans were the first to understand what terrible, Nazi forces are being formed in Ukraine, and they tried to draw the attention of the whole world to this. But then we were told that our fears were exaggerated. Realizing the danger, we stood up to protect the peninsula. And we succeeded thanks to the unanimity of the Crimeans, the support of our PresidentKonstantinov said.

He expressed confidence that every year as part of Russia he confirms the correctness of the choice of the Crimeans.

I thank every participant in those events: deputies of the Supreme Council of Crimea, my friends and like-minded people Sergei Aksenov and Oleg Belaventsev, the people’s militia, every Crimean family. I wish the new regions of Russia success in their integration. We have always been there, we have seen what a heavy burden the people of Donbass have endured. Now we are forever part of one country, and we, the Crimeans, are ready to provide all the necessary assistance to our neighbors.
