Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian women on International Women's Day
On March 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed Russian women.
Our dear women!
I sincerely congratulate you on International Women’s Day.
This holiday is celebrated in many states, but for Russia it is always filled with special warmth and meaning, the kindest, brightest, most sincere feelings, because the sublime, respectful attitude towards a woman, towards motherhood is an absolute value for us, passed down from generation to generation.
Today, in all cities and towns of our large country, they talk about love and admiration for mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives, daughters, girlfriends, they strive to please their dearest and closest, hug, say about what sometimes there is not enough time in the daily whirlwind of affairs. , to convey greetings and kind sincere words to those who believe and wait at home, at the time of trials and separation.
We know how much in life rests on you, our dear women, on your labors and generosity, how much effort you devote to caring for children, so that love, comfort and harmony reign in the family.
And of course, your unchanging responsibility, your ability to take into account all the details, all aspects of the business you are doing, all the best qualities that you show in various professions, cause great respect.
Today I want to separately congratulate the women soldiers who have chosen the highest mission for themselves — the defense of the Motherland, women, girls from military units, military doctors, paramedics, nurses from regimental first-aid posts, medical companies, hospitals and hospitals, those who are at risk to their own lives rescues the wounded on the front lines. Your courage, determination, courage amaze even the most hardened fighters.
In difficult moments, in times of trials, indifference, the responsiveness of the female heart always turn into a powerful force that indicates the most correct, just, and necessary course of action. This is what is happening now. I know how sincerely, sometimes selflessly, you support our soldiers and officers — both your loved ones and completely unfamiliar guys — with prayer, warm words and good deeds. You write letters, collect packages with everything you need, weave camouflage nets, go as volunteers to hospitals to take care of everyone as if they were your own son.
You inspire, inspire faith, help our heroes, despite the distance, feel a part of the house, and your compassion, mercy are able to create — and do — real miracles.
On this day of the coming spring, I want to wish you love, mutual understanding with those who are dear to you, and that the warmth that you so generously share returns to you a hundredfold, and also warms your hearts.
Happy holiday to you! Happy International Women’s Day!
