In Yalta, traffic police officers keep on special control the observance of the Rules of the Road by motorized transport drivers.
The territory of Yalta is patrolled daily by 2 motorized patrols of the State traffic inspectorate. In the course of their service, traffic police officers pay special attention to the suppression of traffic violations by motor vehicle drivers that contribute to the commission of an accident, including driving in a state of intoxication, without driver’s and registration documents, without a helmet, technically faulty, unregistered in the prescribed manner, with fake node numbers ( units)— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
Results? Since the beginning of the year, Yalta inspectors have brought to justice 225 violators — drivers of motorcycles and mopeds.
45 drivers in a state of intoxication and 36 drivers who do not have or are deprived of the right to drive vehicles were detained. 81 units of two-wheeled vehicles, including motorcycles and mopeds, are placed in a specialized parking lot— listed in the State traffic inspectorate.
