Yuri Gotsanyuk: “Municipalities bear full responsibility for cleanliness and order”
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk held a working meeting via video conferencing with the heads of municipalities on issues of sanitary cleaning and maintenance of territories.
Municipalities bear full responsibility for cleanliness and order. The cleaning system must work accurately and without failures — at the level of automation“, the Prime Minister emphasized, noting that the sanitary condition of cities and districts is under constant control, and cleaning should cover not only central streets and public spaces, but also residential areas, outskirts and courtyard areas.
Based on the results of the inspections, due to improper performance of duties and lack of proper control, the officials in charge of this area in the administrations of Feodosia, Kerch, Bakhchisaray, Krasnoperekopsk, Belogorsk, Saki and Armyansk will be brought to disciplinary liability.
The Housing Supervision Inspectorate of the Republic of Crimea will inspect the activities of management companies and take administrative measures against officials for failure to fulfill obligations to the owners of apartment buildings in the cities of Feodosia and Dzhankoy.
Municipalities need to eliminate identified violations as soon as possible and strengthen control over waste removal. Particular attention should be paid to the organization of public transport, compliance with traffic schedules, the relevance of information at stops and the cleanliness of stopping points
In addition, the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Crimea recorded the presence of unauthorized dumps of solid and bulky waste on the territory of all municipalities. An instruction was given to ensure their complete liquidation by December 15.
