Yuri Gotsanyuk: “Over the past year, 3,594 fires were registered in Crimea”
During a meeting on the results of the work of the territorial subsystem of the RSChS of the Republic of Crimea for 2025, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk emphasized the importance of an integrated approach to ensuring the safety of citizens.
Over the past year, 3,594 fires were registered in Crimea,” Gotsanyuk noted. — Thanks to the organized work of 300 patrol groups, we were able to not only control the situation, but also take measures to prevent landscape fires from spreading into populated areas.
He also said that more than a thousand violations that could lead to serious consequences for residents were stopped.

Among the key tasks for 2026 are: increasing the efficiency of fire safety measures, updating mineralized strips near populated areas and gardening non-profit partnerships, as well as clearing areas of flammable materials.
It is also necessary to take care of creating sources of fire-fighting water supply in populated areas and complete the installation of local warning systems at hydraulic structures,” Gotsanyuk emphasized, addressing the meeting participants.
Following the results of the board, the chairman awarded the participants for their work in ensuring the security of Crimea, noting that “such awards are recognition of the well-coordinated work of the entire team.”
