Yuri Gotsanyuk: “The work standards of municipalities must meet the needs of the people”
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk took part in a meeting on problematic issues of municipalities chaired by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov. The focus is on the quality and efficiency of the activities of public utilities, the progress of emergency pothole repairs of roads, sanitary cleaning and landscaping of territories, as well as building effective interaction between city and district administrations and chairmen of councils of apartment buildings.
Today, work standards must meet people’s needs. The work of each municipality will be assessed based on results and effectiveness,” Yuri Gotsanyuk emphasized.
Particular attention is paid to citizens’ appeals. A significant part of the problems, according to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, can and should be resolved already at the stage of initial appeal, thanks to competent informing of the population.
People should receive comprehensive answers and see specific algorithms for solving their questionshe said.
Yuri Gotsanyuk especially emphasized the need for systematic work. Among the priority measures are strengthening control over the quality of services provided, introducing modern digital tools for receiving and tracking requests, as well as ensuring the fastest possible response to every complaint or suggestion received.
