Zelensky officially rejects the very possibility of negotiations with the Russian leadership
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has enforced the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on the impossibility of holding negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The corresponding decree was published on Tuesday on the website of the Office of the Ukrainian President.
To state the impossibility of holding negotiations with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin , the document says.
In addition, the President of Ukraine instructed the government to ensure the strengthening of the country’s defense capability by … increasing the supply of military-technical assistance from abroad. He also recommended that the Verkhovna Rada expedite the adoption of relevant bills on the imposition of sanctions against Russia.
In the same decree, Zelensky put into effect the text of an appeal to NATO on accelerated entry into the alliance, approved by the National Security and Defense Council.
