The flags of the Republic and Russia are unfurled in ten points of Crimea! With such an action today, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, specialists of “CRIMEA-SPAS”, together with members of the regional branch of the “Russian Union of Rescuers” celebrated the Day of Reunification of Crimea with Russia.

Let us remind you that the action is annual, but this time it is not only the peaks of the mountains, but other iconic places of the peninsula located in the areas of responsibility of rescuers.

Employees of the Dzhankoy emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» unfurled flags on the island with the symbolic name Russian. This small piece of land in the north of Crimea bears the burden of the heaviest battles during the Great Patriotic War. The island is located in the north of Crimea; it was through it that a bridge was built to the peninsula in 1944: people walked along it to begin the liberation of Crimea. On the territory of Russky Island there is a memorial complex dedicated to the soldiers of the 4th Ukrainian Front who crossed Sivash in 1944.

Rescuers of the Belogorsk emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS”, consisting of 7 people, climbed to the top of Ak-Kaya in the Belogorsk region. On the White Rock, known throughout Crimea, at an altitude of 325 meters above sea level, today the flags of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Crimea and “CRIMEA-SPAS” are flying.

The personnel of the Lenin emergency rescue squad installed flags at Cape Kazantip today. The cape protrudes far into the Sea of ​​Azov, and part of it is protected.

Four rescuers of the Bakhchisarai emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» unfurled flags at the monument to partisans on the northern slope of the Ai-Petrinskaya Yayla: Mount Syyuryu-Kaya, at an altitude of 815 m above sea level. The employees climbed from the Grand Canyon, covering about 4 km along difficult, steep terrain.

Ten rescuers of the Sudak detachment of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» moved out early today to Mount Sokol. Having covered about 2 km on foot, the personnel climbed to a height of 473 m above sea level and unfurled the flags of Russia and Crimea at the top.

One of the most difficult climbs is the ascent to Mount Eklizi-Burun, where the guys from the Alushta rescue team traditionally went in the morning. From year to year, Alushta residents do not change their rules. Rescuers had to climb a fairly steep slope for about 2.5 hours. Having covered a route about 6 km long, rescuers planted flags at the highest point of Mount Chatyr-Dag, at an altitude of 1,527 meters above sea level.

It is impossible to imagine Ai-Petri on this day without the waving tricolor. Rescuers of the Yalta ASO GKU RK «CRIMEA-SPAS», without changing tradition, climbed and unfurled flags at an altitude of 1,234 m above sea level.

Employees of the Evpatoria emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS» raised the flags of Russia and Crimea at the mass grave of the participants of the Evpatoria landing. The memorial was erected in memory of one of the most heroic and tragic events in the history of Crimea.

Rescuers from the Simferopol detachment climbed Mount Pakhkal-Kaya (Simferopol district). The rescuers covered the path in an all-terrain vehicle, then climbed on foot along the difficult rocky terrain to the top. The flags of Russia and Crimea fly at an altitude of 1,138 meters above sea level.

The Feodosia rescue team hoisted the flag of Russia and Crimea on the Tepe-Oba ridge, at an altitude of 384 meters above sea level.

Today the whole country is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the return of Crimea to the Russian Federation. Rescuers cannot stay away. The guys are in a good, festive mood, which they shared with the Crimeans today. This action is annual, this year the number of points at which the flags of Russia and Crimea were unfurled corresponds to the number of years Crimea has been part of Russia.
