100 km of the Great Crimean Trail complex has been built in Crimea

The improvement of the first 100 km of the active tourism complex “Great Crimean Trail”, implemented by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, has been completed. Work has been completed on four excursion and ecological walking routes passing through the territories of the urban districts of Sudak, Feodosia and the Kirov region. These are the trails “Mysterious Meganom”, “Voloshin’s Trail”, “Green’s Trail” and “Shrines of the Armenian Church”. Information boards and navigation signs have been installed. There are equipped places for tourist parking and for short-term recreation— quotes the message TASS.
The timing of the improvement of the rest of the route and the amount of funding have not been specified.
The Great Crimean Trail is a linear route that runs along the Black Sea coast. The trail passes through seven municipal districts and six urban districts, more than 20 specially protected natural areas. In total, it is planned to improve 52 trails with a total length of more than 1 thousand km. The number of objects that the project will cover will include, in particular, Karalarsky Park, Osovinskaya Steppe, Quiet Bay, cave cities of Bakhchisarai, Grand Canyon of Crimea, Cape Meganom, Demerdzhi, Ai-Petri, the “Little Jerusalem” tourist route, Atlesh, Tarkhankutsky Park.
