113.5 million rubles will be allocated to support the tourism industry of Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Government of the Russian Federation approved the allocation of more than 1.6 billion rubles by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia to support the tourism industry of the Crimean Peninsula. Of these 113, Sevastopol will receive 5 million. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Demand for domestic tourism is growing in all directions. The government encourages the creation of new infrastructure. But at the same time, we support those who have been working in this market for many years. These measures, among other things, should also influence the pricing policy of the tourism business , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov.

In Sevastopol and Crimea, at least 1 500 companies and individual entrepreneurs working in the field of tourism will be able to receive a lump sum payment.

Representatives of the tourist business of Sevastopol ensured the full-time work of the industry in a difficult tourist season. It is very important for us to help local entrepreneurs, including through federal support measures. We are grateful that the initiative of the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev is supported by the federal center and an agreement on the provision of a federal subsidy will be signed this year. This measure of the Government of the Russian Federation will help the entrepreneurs of the city to continue their work even in the off-season, when the tourist flow is reduced, as well as to retain the staff , — says Vice-Governor of Sevastopol Maria Litovko.

To receive the payment, entrepreneurs and organizations must commit to retain at least 80% of employees for six months — from October 1 113 to April 1 2023 of the year.

In Sevastopol and other cities of the peninsula, in accordance with an assessment of the needs of the industry, the payment of the required amount of the minimum wage for each job will be provided. Appropriate decisions will be approved by regional regulations.

The rules for providing this subsidy to the regions will be developed separately and submitted to the Government in November. Within a month, a federal agreement on the provision of a subsidy will be concluded.
