12 years and 14 years in a colony: two residents of the Kirovsky district of Crimea will be responsible for organizing a drug den

The Kirovsky District Court of the Republic of Crimea found guilty two residents of the Kirovsky District for the systematic provision of premises for the consumption of narcotic drugs by a group of persons by prior agreement and the illegal sale of narcotic drugs by a group of persons by prior agreement.
The court found that in February 2023, the 31-year-old defendant and her 43-year-old cohabitant adapted a residential building into a drug den. It was there that from February to April 2023 they received guests for the use of drugs. It was also established that in February 2023, acting by agreement, the married couple committed two crimes of illegal sale of drugs— reported the press service of the court.
The court, having comprehensively studied the materials of the case, sentenced the defendant to imprisonment for a term of 12 years and 1 month, to be served in a correctional colony of general regime. The court sentenced the cohabitant to 14 years in prison to be served in a strict regime colony. The verdict did not enter into force.
