120 Sevastopol schoolchildren took part in the military-patriotic game “Defenders of the Fatherland”

For two days in Sevastopol, in the Patriot Park, the military-patriotic sports game “Defenders of the Fatherland” was held, timed to celebrate the Day of Special Forces Units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The event was organized by the Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Students with the support of the Patriot Park of the Southern Military District, the Sevastopol regional branch of the All-Russian Military Organization «Combat Brotherhood» and the Sevastopol Regiment of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.
The game was attended by 120 children aged 14 to 17 years from schools No. 4, 6, 23, 25, 32, 37, 54, 60, Ecotech+, gymnasiums No. 2 and 10.
The game took place in several stages, and the guys also took part in a military history quiz.
We set ourselves the task of captivating young people with the history of the country, the history of the Russian Armed Forces, and showing the children that learning to work in a team is a necessary skill in all areas of our lives. The boys demonstrated unity, agility and endurance. We are glad that such games find a response among teenagers; they are interested in such leisure activities with elements of competition– the press service quotes the director of the Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Students Ivan Demidov.
Based on the results of the competition, the following winners were determined:
- first place was awarded to students from school No. 60 and gymnasium No. 10;
- second place was earned by students from schools No. 32 and No. 6;
- third place went to the children from school No. 25 and gymnasium No. 2.
The competition was held as part of the implementation of the goals and objectives of the regional project “Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation” of the national project “Education”.
