In Simferopol, on behalf of the head of the city administration, Mikhail Afanasyev, they stepped up work on the repair and maintenance of roads. According to the director of the municipal institution «City» Anton Gumen, on behalf of the head of the capital’s administration, the microdistrict «Old City» was examined for the condition of the roadway. During this survey, about 17 thousand square meters of roads were identified that are in urgent need of repair.
Today, work is being carried out along Volodarsky Street, where earlier teams milled about 1,700 square meters of the top layer of the road surface. At the moment, laying of hot asphalt is underway. It is planned to finish work on the street by tomorrow, after which the workers will start patching on Kurchatov Streethe commented.
More than 10 specialists and 4 units of specialized equipment are involved in the repair work — a mini-loader, a roller, as well as two dump trucks with milled asphalt material.
The director of the «City» also informed that within the framework of this instruction, it is necessary to grade 20 kilometers of dirt roads. With the help of technology, the top layer of the road is removed, which results in the necessary profile and slope. After that, profiling is performed: workers sprinkle the object with FAM, level it and compact it.
