170 Crimean entrepreneurs took advantage of the “Universal” microloan

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The fact that since the beginning of the program, 170 entrepreneurs have used the Universal microloan, was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.

The “Universal” program was developed by the Microfinance Fund, with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea in 2023 with the aim of increasing the availability of borrowed financial resources for small and medium-sized businesses in Crimea.

The microloan is provided at a reduced interest rate — 6% per annum, in the amount of 150 thousand to 1 million rubles, for a period of 6 to 36 months. Microloan funds can be used both to purchase fixed assets and to replenish working capital of a business. The program is valid until June 30, 2024.

Since the beginning of the program, 170 Crimean entrepreneurs have taken advantage of the microloan. The total amount of borrowed funds is more than 145.3 million rubles. Thanks to the reduced interest rate, entrepreneurs can cover current business needs without increased financial burden,” said Irina Kiviko.

Using microloan funds, equipment is updated, furniture and equipment are purchased, goods and consumables are purchased, repair services, advertising, utility and rental payments are paid, wages are paid, and much more.

Financial support in the form of microloans at a preferential interest rate is made possible thanks to the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives,” initiated by the President of the Russian Federation.
