2 out of 3 economically active Crimeans know nothing about the procedure for calculating pensions

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Every third Crimean born in 1967 and younger admitted that they do not know how pensions are formed and calculated. 32% found it difficult to assess the pension system.

Only 7% of city residents consider the pension formula fair. 28% called it incorrect. Judging by the comments, respondents most often oppose increasing the old-age pension age, want the formula for calculating pensions to become more transparent, and talk about the need to return to the old procedure for calculating pensions, which took into account length of service and salary. Men admitted ignorance more often (36% versus 29% among women). 4 out of 10 representatives of the fairer sex find it difficult to assess the fairness of the pension formula (versus 25% among men), — noted in the press service of the service.

Most often, city dwellers under 34 years of age admitted ignorance of the basic principles of calculating pensions: “Too far from retirement, everything can still change several times.”

Proposals for changing the pension formula (contextual analysis of comments, in descending order of number of mentions):

1. Restore the previous retirement age
2. Switch to a more transparent/simple/understandable pension calculation system
3. Return to the old procedure for calculating pensions depending on length of service and salary
4. Take inflation processes into account in the formula
5. Take into account the level of prices and tariffs in a particular region in the formula
6. Increase the base part and the marginal coefficient
7. Abandon the joint pension system and introduce a personal savings system with inheritance of the entire pension capital
