20% of employers in Crimea check credit stories of applicants during employment

In a service survey Superjob Recruiters of companies and representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
20% of EICHAROV claim that their companies check the credit stories of candidates for all positions, in 3% of enterprises and organizations, selective checks are carried out.
11% of applicants came across similar in the process of employment: “when it was arranged in the bank”; «To a leadership position.» Moreover, more often such inspections were told by residents of Crimea aged 35 to 45 years, as well as those whose income exceeds 100 thousand rubles per month (13%each).
Superjob lawyers recall that an extract on credit history refers to personal data. The employer can receive an extract from the credit bureau only with the written consent of the applicant, indicating the purpose of such an audit. However, employers can ask questions about credit history in the process of interviews or during the survey. However, when applying for a job, a person does not have the right to refuse with the basis of a “bad credit history”. According to the law, the refusal can only be associated with the professional qualities of the applicant.
