200 million rubles will be allocated for the installation of transformer substations in the Simferopol region

CrimeaPRESS reports:

It is planned to allocate an additional 200 million rubles for the purchase of 110 transformer substations in the Simferopol region. This was stated by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov. He clarified that the work to replace equipment is planned to be completed in full by June 1 of this year.

The work schedule will be published on the portal of the Government of the Republic of Crimea and on the website of the Simferopol district administration,” Aksyonov noted.

The head of Crimea said that the load on the electricity grid in the municipality has increased overall, as the number of connected subscribers has increased.

With the arrival of new management at Krymenergo, more than 3.5 thousand technological connections have been implemented in the region— said the Head of the Republic of Crimea.

In addition, in the Simferopol region, the necessary analysis was carried out and settlements were identified where there is not enough power in the electrical grid. It is planned to mobilize the personnel of the Central Electric Networks of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea «Krymenergo» and organize about 12-15 teams ready to carry out the assigned tasks. The schedule for the repair of transformer substations will be published in a timely manner for the convenience of citizens.

In addition, Sergei Aksyonov instructed to create a list of substations that require replacement in those municipalities of the republic where problems with voltage surges are recorded in the summer by March 1.

Basically, we are talking about coastal settlements, where electricity consumption increases in the summer due to the use of air conditioners,” explained the Head of the Republic.

Aksenov expressed gratitude to the Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Voronkin and the General Director of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Krymenergo” Vyacheslav Gaiduk for the work being done.
