200 thousand children across the country: «United Russia» helped the kids get ready for school

United Russia has helped prepare more than 200,000 children across the country for school. In addition to the traditional categories — children from large, low-income families — special attention was paid to the families of SVO participants, as well as children in new regions. United Russia handed over more than 30,000 backpacks for first-graders and sets for schoolchildren from needy and large families to new regions, the head noted. The republics of Dagestan, Tatarstan, Karelia, Leningrad, Kostroma, Moscow, Belgorod, Orenburg, Penza, Kemerovo regions became the leading regions in collecting and providing children with everything necessary for study, said the coordinator of the New School party project, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education Alena Arshinov. She also noted that almost 3,000 educational institutions received support as part of the «Help for Schools» campaign.
