22 people were hospitalized, 9 patients were discharged. Coronavirus in Sevastopol

Over the past 24 hours, 22 people have been hospitalized in covid hospitals. 9 patients have been discharged. There are currently 80 patients in hospitals, 73 of them with confirmed COVID-19.

In total, 126 beds have been deployed in the city infectious diseases hospital, the first, fifth and ninth city hospitals for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection and suspected of it. As of the morning of March 18, there were 58 new cases of COVID-19 in the city. 1 person died at the age of 72 years. According to Rospotrebnadzor, during the pandemic in Sevastopol, 100,246 people fell ill with a new coronavirus infection, 97,322 recovered— reported in the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

The city is currently running a COVID-19 vaccination campaign. Vaccination points have been deployed in polyclinics, feldsher-obstetric stations and rural medical outpatient clinics.

There is a mobile point inside the shopping center «Musson».

There were no cases of complications after vaccination in the region.

In Sevastopol, on the morning of March 18, 376,090 people were vaccinated against coronavirus. 330,874 residents of the city passed the second stage of vaccination.

Mass vaccination began in Sevastopol on February 8, 2021. As of March 18, more than 380,000 doses of the vaccine have been received. Deliveries are going according to plan.
