CrimeaPRESS reports:
According to the card index, 23 cases are currently under consideration, with the defendants being the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine and the State Agency for Water Resources of Ukraine. On August 22, the first decisions were made on two more cases: from Chernyshevskoye 22 LLC for 86.6 million rubles and from Infokar Trade and Industrial Company LLC for the recovery of 93.7 million rubles. The court ruled to satisfy both claims in full, — reports TASS.
In July 2024, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea recognized the right of Crimeans to compensation due to the water blockade of the peninsula organized by Ukraine. As reported by the Chairman of the State Council of the region Vladimir Konstantinov, the amount of damage incurred is estimated at 3.066 trillion rubles. The decision allows Crimeans to go to court to receive compensation for moral damages incurred as a result of the water blockade without proving the fact of the blockade.
