2500 people will call for military service in Crimea

The spring call will be held from April 1 to July 15. During the upcoming draft for military service from the territory of the Republic of Crimea, about 2500 Crimeans will be sent. The deadline for military service on conscription, as before, is 12 months— he said.

According to Mashukov, next week the first teams of the draftees will leave from the draft points of municipalities to the place of service. The directions of conscripts for military service are scheduled for constant deployment of formations and military units of the armed forces deployed in the territory of the Russian Federation.

Most of the draftees will be sent to educational formations and military units, where they will master modern military equipment, will receive a military specialty. At the end of training, they will be sent to the corresponding military units— added a military commissar.
