261 applications were received from Crimeans to participate in the “Education Flagships” project

The results of the application campaign for participation in the project have been summed up «Flagships of Education» presidential platform «Russia is a country of opportunity»More than 88,000 people from all regions of the country registered on the official website, 261 of whom represent the Republic of Crimea.

The most motivated managers in the field of education, talented teachers and promising students of all fields of study over 18 years of age, as well as entrepreneurs engaged in educational activities, take part in the “Flagships of Education” competition.

The Flagships of Education project includes a range of opportunities and services for the professional development of managers, teachers and students. Among them are Flagship Schools, a full-time project-based educational intensive course for the professional development and support of promising regional and municipal management teams. The Constellation of Flagships of Education is a professional community that unites 296 winners and finalists of the Flagships of Education competition among education managers and teachers, created to promote the expert potential of its participants. The Educational Marathon is a series of educational events aimed at identifying professional deficiencies, developing the competencies and knowledge of participants in four areas: leadership and team building, state educational policy, flexible skills, and a student workshop: project activities in education.

In 2024, more than 60 events have already been held. The partners of the Educational Marathon were: the Presidential Academy, JSC Prosveshcheniye Publishing House, the Higher School of Economics, the International Children’s Center Artek, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, ANO Dialogue Regions, pedagogical universities of the country, regional institutes for the development of education and other organizations.

One of the key events of the Flagships of Education project is the professional competition of the same name, aimed at the career development of managers, teachers and students. The first stage of the competition started on August 2 — this is a remote comprehensive assessment of the level of supra-professional competencies and professional knowledge. It will be available until August 11. Based on the results of the assessment, ratings of semi-finalists among managers and teachers in each subject of the Russian Federation will be formed, and students will immediately go to the final, which will take place in October.

For managers and teachers, the regional semi-finals will be held in person in October. Experts will assess the level of professional knowledge and universal competencies of the participants through individual and group competition tasks. No more than three semi-final winners in each region will advance to the final of the competition. The final itself will take place in November. The participants of the competition will have the opportunity to make a name for themselves, test their knowledge, improve their qualifications, take part in educational events and enter the personnel reserve of the Russian Federation education system.

The project «Flagships of Education» of the presidential platform «Russia — the Country of Opportunities» is being implemented within the framework of the federal project «Social Lifts for Everyone» of the national project «Education» with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
