31% of mothers in Crimea change jobs or quit at the end of maternity leave
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Every ninth modern woman goes to work immediately after sick leave for pregnancy and childbirth. In a service survey SuperJob Mothers of children under 10 years old from Crimea took part.
Every third woman (32%) takes parental leave for up to one and a half years, and 57% — up to three years. 1 in 9 women reported that they did not take such leave and immediately went to work after maternity leave. 79% of Crimean women who refused maternity leave made this decision on their own. And only 6% — at the request of the employer— reported the press service of the service.
Among those who go on maternity leave, 31% change jobs or quit at the end of it, and another 32% leave on time. 24% of women surveyed said that they left ahead of schedule, but on their own initiative. 8% of city women — at the request of their superiors.
Irreplaceable workers are often not allowed to stay on maternity leave even until the child is 1.5 years old. But women who took maternity leave for up to 3 years are more likely to quit at the end of it. Judging by the comments, too much changes at work during this period, sometimes even the organization ceases to exist.
