340 young Sevastopol residents became Russian Eaglets

On the eve of the day of the anthem of Sevastopol, in the Catherine Hall of the House of Officers of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, a solemn ceremony was held to dedicate primary school students from gymnasiums No. 2, No. 10, schools No. 3, 42, 47, 58 to Eaglets of Russia. 340 primary school students joined the ranks of active participants in the All-Russian program “Eaglets of Russia”.

The initiation into the Eaglets of Russia takes place on the eve of the day of the anthem of Sevastopol, which marks its 70th anniversary. Now the guys are not just students, they have been awarded the proud title of Eaglets. I wish our eaglets to study well, make friends, create, be worthy citizens and true patriots of our glorious Hero City and great country. By the way, the program for the development of social activity “Commonwealth of Eaglets of Russia” will also unite children from preschool institutions from this academic year– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Science Elena Andrus.

During the event, the children received eaglet certificates, and child mentors, teachers and parents, activists of the First Movement and the Youth Army, presented the junior schoolchildren with badges and tied ties.

The Commonwealth of Eaglets of Russia today is a community of children, teachers, parents and older teenagers who act as mentors for younger schoolchildren, united by a common motto: we learn, grow, dream together. There are Russian Eaglet classes in every Sevastopol school. The Russian Eaglet family in Sevastopol already numbers 15,000 schoolchildren, – notes Natalya Zagorodnyaya, deputy director of the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity, regional coordinator of the “Navigators of Childhood” project in Sevastopol.

Let us remind you that the program for the development of social activity of primary school students “Eaglets of Russia” has been implemented since September 2021 within the framework of the federal project “Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation” of the national project “Education”.
