35% of recruiters in Crimea are interested in information about hobbies in a resume

In a service survey SuperJob Representatives of enterprises and organizations from Crimea took part.
35% of HR managers believe that applicants need to indicate any hobbies and interests in their resume, 26% of recruiters prefer to see in their resume only those hobbies that correspond to the specialty and the nature of the future job. And only 24% consider this information unnecessary,” noted the service’s press service.
4% of recruiters spoke about cases where a hobby actually became the reason a candidate was denied employment. Judging by the comments, job applicants who are fond of extreme sports were most often denied jobs (due to the risk of injury and, consequently, long periods of sick leave).
