Today, during a meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, they discussed the allocation of a grant for the training of 50 students under a targeted program at the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Health Preservation of SevSU.
Thus, we will be able to train the second set of students in the field of General Medicine. We will recruit students annually, also 50 people each. The duration of training is 6 years and in the end we will receive approximately 300 students from 1st to 6th year. It is important that after graduation, specialists will be required to work in the healthcare system of our city. In fact, we are now investing in training in order to obtain the personnel we need,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Director of the Department of Health Vitaly Denisov noted that the size of the grant was 4.7 million rubles.
Last year, after the creation of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Health Preservation, a grant was also allocated for the opportunity to train 50 targeted students in the specialty “General Medicine”. These are exactly the doctors our healthcare system needs.
